In Benin, the Songhai model of green rural cities extends beyond the capital city of Porto Novo. To control production in different agro-ecological zones, three other sites were created Savalou (Centre) on 214 hectares, in Parakou (North) on 250 hectares, and in Kinwedji (South West) on 30 hectares. The Songhai model has also been exported. It has started replication in other countries in the region: <\/span><\/p>\n\n \n\n
