\t\t\t\t160<\/span><\/span> student-farmers<\/span>, including 25 girls, started their<\/span> training in agricultural<\/span> entrepreneurship<\/span> at Songhai<\/span> Centre on Saturday<\/span> 3<\/span> January.<\/span> The ceremony<\/span> marking the official<\/span> start<\/span> of this batch<\/span> –<\/span> the 54th<\/sup> batch of<\/span> student farmers<\/span>–<\/span> was held inside Songhai<\/span> Centre<\/span> in Porto Novo<\/span>. In attendance were<\/span> relatives and friends<\/span> of learners,<\/span> as well as staff<\/span> of Songhai Training Department<\/span>. Fr<\/em><\/span> Godfrey<\/span> Nzamujo<\/span><\/em> also enhanced<\/span> the ceremony with its presence.<\/span> It was an opportunity<\/span> for the<\/span> Director of the center<\/span> to remind<\/span> the audience<\/span> the benefits of this<\/span> training in agricultural<\/span> entrepreneurship,<\/span> which<\/span> fits<\/span> prominently<\/span> in the vision of<\/span> the President of Benin<\/span> and enjoys<\/span> his support.<\/span> He also<\/span> reassured parents about<\/span> the promising future of<\/span> their children<\/span> after the<\/span> training.<\/span> “<\/span>We practice smart agriculture<\/span>, which takes into account the<\/span> challenges of the<\/span> future<\/span>” said Fr<\/em><\/span> Nzamujo<\/span><\/em> before specifying<\/span> that such<\/span> agriculture<\/span> can<\/span> only help<\/span> the entrepreneur<\/span> prosper as it will make him to be<\/span> sought<\/span> after for his<\/span> expertise.<\/span> But before<\/span> arriving<\/span> there,<\/span> new student-farmers<\/span> will have to show<\/span> all their<\/span> availability<\/span> and willingness<\/span> to acquire<\/span> knowledge and<\/span> skills,<\/span> which will transform<\/span> the precious key that will transform<\/span> their entire existence according to the Director<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n \n\n
