<span class=\"hps\">organization is involved in<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">many areas, be it<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">health, education<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">or food.<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">In partnership with<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">institutions such as the<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Food and Agriculture Organization<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">(FAO),<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">the United States Agency for<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">International Development (<\/span>USAID), the World Food <span class=\"hps\">Program (WFP)<\/span>, but also <span class=\"hps\">Songhai,<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">the organization<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">works<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">for food security<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">in many countries.<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">It is<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">therefore right<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">that the<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Director of<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Programming and Training<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Department<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">of<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Peace Corps<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">visits<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Songhai<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Centre<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">on Friday January 9, 2015.<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Leading a delegation of eight<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">people from<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Washington<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">but also<\/span> from <span class=\"hps\">the national representation<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">of the<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Peace Corps<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">in Benin,<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Sonia<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Stines<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Derenencourt<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">had<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">a full tour<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">of the center.<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">The tour<\/span>, conducted <span class=\"hps\">by Fr<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Godfrey<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Nzamujo<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">himself,<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">has<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">allowed the delegation<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">to discover<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Songhai<\/span>, through its <span class=\"hps\">philosophy, its<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">development model and<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">many activities.<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">At the end<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">of the visit,<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">&#8220;<\/span>joy and <span class=\"hps\">hope&#8221;<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">&#8211;<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">hope<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">especially for Africa<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">&#8211;<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">are the<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">feelings expressed by<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">the Director of the<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Programming and<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Training Department of<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">the Peace Corps<\/span>. <span class=\"hps\">Sonia<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Stines<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Derenencourt<\/span>, although she <span class=\"hps\">repeatedly<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">heard<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">praises on<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Songhai<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Centre<\/span>, she <span class=\"hps\">still had<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">not hoped<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">to discover<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">what she saw<\/span>. <span class=\"hps\">&#8220;I saw<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">beyond<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">my expectations,&#8221;<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">she<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">confided.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n \n\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" align=\"center\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva;
